Each Medevac (medical evacuation) flight is staffed with Medical Team members, hand selected to meet the specific needs of each patient. Though some flights may be considered a Basic Life Support (BLS) transport, our team prepares for each flight as though it were a more critical Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) transport. This preparation ensures that any change in the patient’s condition during the transport can be managed.As part of Trinity’s commitment to quality patient care, all of our medical staff is professionally active in local hospitals, Fire-Rescue, Military and EMS Departments. With our involvement in the local health service community, Trinity stays current with the latest advances in the health industry.

Medical Director

Jeffrey A. Levy, MD, PhD

Jeffrey A. Levy, MD is a graduate of American University of the Caribbean, Medical School, and has a PhD in Pharmacology from Medical College of Virginia. He completed his residency for Internal medicine at Oakwood Hospital in MI., and is a fellow in Critical Care Medicine from University of Florida Health Science Center, Fellow in Surgical Intensive Care from Jackson Memorial Hospital.

He is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. He has research experience postdoctoral Fellow, Immunology at Roger Williams General Hospital, Brown University in RI and Staff Scientist, Immunopharmacology at Michigan Cancer Foundation.

Dr. Levy has been practicing in South Florida since 1990. He is the Medical Director for Trinity Air Ambulance International and practices at Jackson North and Main Medical Center as a Critical Care Intensivist and has been recognized by America’s Top Physicians.

Quality Assurance Program

Trinity Air Ambulance International has an established Quality Assurance Program to ensure that we continue to maintain our high standards of service. Our Q.A. Program is monitored in-house by our Medical Director and Inger Lisa Skroder MN, ARNP.All medical equipment is Trinity-owned and maintained in accordance with manufacturer standards or higher. Our Medical Team checks the equipment pre- and post-flight for condition and systems operations. All medical bags are pre-packed for rapid response, and again re-checked before loading them into the aircraft. Pre-flight check lists are completed by the medical team before every departure.There is a continuous line of communication between the Medical Team, flight coordinators and airport operations before, during, and after each flight in order to maintain the highest quality of safe, uninterrupted service. Each transport team is equipped with International Cell Phones.At the conclusion of each transport, post-flight check lists are completed and flight notes are reviewed by our Medical Director and/or Inger Lisa Skroder MN, ARNP. Any questions the medical flight team or the Medical Director may have are addressed at this time. If areas for improvement are identified, they are promptly amended, implemented and distributed to the team and staff members.Please contact us if you have questions: (954) 771-7911Email: contact@trinityairambulance.com
